ESAB in Mexico seeks a senior maintenance technician with 7+ years of experience to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing. You will dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble components following layouts, blueprints, and manuals, and perform rebuilds as required.

You may act as a team leader or SME, applying judgement to develop methods for new assignments. Proficiency with test and diagnostic equipment and a proactive mindset are essential to ensure continuous

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read layouts, blueprints and manuals.
• Proven ability to work independently or as a team lead.

Job Description

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers. Extensive knowledge in specialized function. Contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Assignments are complex and require judgement and initiative. May act independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments. May be a team leader or considered a subject matter expert for their work area.
