Gates is seeking a Sr Maintenance Manager in Atlacomulco, Mexico to lead maintenance activities and optimize plant performance. You will oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, reducing downtime and scrap while improving time efficiency.

The role demands extensive maintenance and project experience in manufacturing, with strong leadership and budgeting capabilities to drive continuous improvement. Fluency in English is preferred and ISO standards knowledge is valued.

Formación

• 11–15 years of maintenance and projects experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electromechanical, electrical or related engineering.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 management systems.
• Desirable: Six Sigma (green/black belt) and Lean manufacturing.
• Leadership experience and initiative development.

As Sr Maintenance Manager, you will ensure the correct performance of the material and human resources within the Maintenance area, avoiding production stoppages and scrap generation due to equipment failures. Implement specific plans to attend preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance ... always with a view to the continuous improvement of time reduction; as well as verify compliance with the maintenance of buildings and facilities.

• Experience preparing and delivering Maintenance training.

Requirements And Preferred Skills

• 11 - 15 years of maintenance and projects experience required, manufacturing industry preferably in the industries of Rubber, Plastics.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical or Related Engineering (Intern or Degree).
• Familiarity with ISO Management Systems (14001, 45001)
• Desirable: Six Sigma (green belt / black belt) Six Sigma Champion, Lean Manufacturing
• Desirable: Productive Maintenance
• Leadership experience, developing and driving initiatives
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent English Language
