Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Engineer to coordinate and execute maintenance, installation, and improvement activities for mechanical and electrical systems during facility start-up. You will work with contractors and OEMs, review after-hours items, and generate daily executive maintenance reports to keep leadership informed.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Min. 3 years in industrial maintenance, facilities, or plant start-up projects.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate and execute maintenance, installation, and improvement activities for mechanical, electrical, combustion, extraction, HVAC, fire protection, and lifting/handling systems during facility start-up.
  • Review after-hours pending items with contractors and OEMs installing facility systems.
  • Generate daily executive maintenance reports before 8:00 a.m. and report gaps through visual management boards.
  • Verify safety standards, capture incidents and unsafe conditions, conduct safety talks, and present SOS reports.
  • Lead safety procedures for machine installation and develop knowledge of the Protag process.
  • Ensure maintenance routes and facility service areas comply with requirements.
  • Coordinate central maintenance, general labor, cleaning, water treatment, tool room, electronics, powerhouse, and clarification departments.
  • Generate scopes of work and follow purchasing processes for service providers.
  • Verify attendance, vacation schedules, and time records for service departments.
  • Support environmental and ISO 9000 requirements, One Point Lessons, and audits.
  • Support production lines with machining and machine issues and provide technical training.
  • Support high- and medium-voltage electrical systems and compressed-air compressors.
  • Support cafeteria equipment and coordinate welding work.
  • Install, supervise, repair, and improve pneumatic, hydraulic, mist-extraction, and mechanical systems.
  • Update production washer engineering and implement washing/drying improvements.
  • Coordinate crane and manipulator certifications, installations, spare parts, and lifting-system improvements.
  • Conduct combustion-equipment audits and maintenance for equipment over 400,000 BTU.
  • Maintain extraction equipment, ductwork, spare parts, and system balancing.
  • Improve and troubleshoot HVAC/AHU systems and maintain facility temperature and humidity.
  • Coordinate fire-protection audits, piping repairs, drawings, and spare-parts requests.
  • Research and implement water-, energy-, and emissions-reduction projects; prepare CPAR proposals.
  • Standardize mechanical equipment and research applicable new technologies.
  • Report to the Launch Manager.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance, facilities, or plant start-up projects
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including high and medium voltage
  • Knowledge of compressed air and combustion equipment over 400,000 BTU
  • Knowledge of mist/dust extraction systems, HVAC, fire protection systems (FPS/SCI), and industrial wash/dry systems
  • Knowledge of FPS (Ford Production System) / MOS, Green Belt, 8D problem-solving methodology, One Point Lessons (LSP), and ISO 9000
  • Contract and vendor management; requisitions and purchase orders; cost and material consumption control; service department management
  • Experience handling MFM maintenance systems, preparing executive reports, controlling attendance lists, and scheduling vacations
  • Trainer/instructor capability and leadership of supervised personnel
  • Certified expert in equipment and machinery lifting; forklift/crane lifting certification is preferred
