Blacksmith Agency is seeking a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems over research, working with a US-based team to turn automation concepts into shipped workflows.

You will build agentic workflows with LangChain and related tools, integrate OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, and connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and our CMS into cohesive pipelines.

Formación

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use).
• Strong REST APIs, webhooks and cloud deployment knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent.
• Integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and development pipelines.
• Create automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery leadership to ship automation roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As Machine Learning Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them. You work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to take a documented roadmap of automation workflows and turn them into shipped, working systems. This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.
