Job summary

Daimler Truck AG in Mexico is hiring for a materials/logistics role focused on managing productive material for the main line. The candidate will unload, store, and control K code materials, maintain orderly docks, and ensure FIFO unloading from trailers to minimize detention costs.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining accurate inventory, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to keep production flowing efficiently.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical, chemical or related field.
• Experience or familiarity with warehouse and production support processes.
• Fluent English level comfortable for technical communications (B1-B2).
• Spanish language level (C1) is required.

Responsibilities

• Control the reception, storage, supply and custody of productive material to guarantee availability.
• Ensure income/discounts of material in the electronic system to maintain inventory.
• Supervise attendance, vacations, training, and performance metrics for the team.
• Review and update missing reports to expedite supply to the line or offline.
• Coordinate annual physical inventories and support finance accuracy.
• Promote continuous improvement projects within the department and plant.
