Job summary

Metso seeks a Logistics Solution Engineer to join the Logistics Quality and Warehouse Process Assurance team. The role focuses on managing and developing quality, safety and optimization in packaging, storage and transportation across business areas.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Logistics Quality and Warehouse Process Assurance. This position offers hybrid options across Sorocaba, Irapuato, or Santiago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.
• Experience in warehousing, transportation or load planning.
• English proficiency and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and develop packaging, storage and transportation methods for items across all modes.
• Drive logistics cost competitiveness through design-to-cost development with Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Prepare and maintain packaging, storage and transport guidelines and deliver related training.
• Manage transport, storage and packaging-related development projects.
• Support Distribution Center Operations in Warehouse Process Assurance and regional development projects.
• Provide logistics quality support and consultation to stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, Project Delivery and Supply Chain.
• Participate in logistics quality audits, claim handling and root cause analyses.
• Plan and maintain a suitable scope of packing materials for manufacturing, distribution centers and suppliers.
