Job summary

Siemens Energy in Guanajuato seeks a Logistics Manager who will plan, direct, and optimize end-to-end logistics across inbound/outbound, transportation, and warehouse operations to support production and customer commitments.

You will lead a cross-functional team, coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, planning, and sales, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations while driving Lean Logistics initiatives to reduce costs and improve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
• Postgraduate degree or Supply Chain certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics leadership roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in SAP (MM, PP, WM/EWM) and advanced knowledge of MRP/MPS.
• Advanced English proficiency and advanced Excel skills; desirable Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee inbound, outbound, transportation, and warehouse operations to ensure material availability aligned with production plans.
• Manage national and international transportation, optimizing routes, loads, delivery times, and logistics costs.
• Ensure compliance with customs, fiscal, and foreign trade regulations, coordinating imports, exports, and documentation.
• Drive inventory accuracy and material planning to reduce shortages, excess stock, damage, and obsolescence.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean Logistics initiatives to reduce logistics costs and improve KPIs.
• Lead, develop, and coordinate the logistics team and cross-functional stakeholders across the value chain.
