OSW Mexico seeks a Distribution & Transport Coordinator to manage domestic transport planning, booking and delivery tracking across Mexico, ensuring on-time delivery and high service levels.

You will work with warehouse and sales teams, negotiate freight rates, maintain records and report on logistics KPIs to drive continuous improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
• 2+ years in domestic distribution, transport coordination or logistics operations.
• Experience coordinating deliveries using third-party transport providers.
• Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems.

To coordinate the efficient distribution of products from OSW warehouses to customers across Mexico. This role is responsible for planning and booking domestic transport, coordinating freight providers, monitoring deliveries, controlling freight costs, and ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Distribution & Transport Coordination

• Coordinate daily deliveries from the warehouse to customers throughout Mexico.
• Book transport with approved freight companies and logistics providers.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations to achieve the best balance of cost and service.
• Plan deliveries based on shipment size, weight, destination and customer requirements.
• Track shipments from dispatch through to final delivery.
• Proactively resolve transport delays, damages and delivery issues.
• Coordinate urgent and priority customer deliveries.
• Ensure proof of delivery documentation is received and maintained.

Distribution Operations

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments from the warehouse.
• Work closely with the Warehouse and Sales teams to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time.
• Monitor delivery schedules and communicate shipment updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate stock transfers between warehouse locations when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and service levels.
• Assist in maintaining high customer satisfaction through effective logistics coordination.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport providers.
• Negotiate freight rates where appropriate.
• Monitor carrier performance and delivery reliability.
• Source alternative transport solutions when required.
• Recommend improvements to freight providers and transport processes.

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate freight bookings and shipment records.
• Verify freight invoices and transport charges.
• Update ERP and operational systems with shipment information.
• Prepare freight cost, delivery performance and logistics reports.
• Assist with inventory movement reporting and logistics documentation.
• Support internal audits and continuous process improvements.

Accountabilities

• Coordinate domestic transport from warehouse to customer, ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service by maintaining proactive communication throughout the delivery process.
• Control freight costs while maintaining agreed service levels.
• Maintain strong working relationships with freight providers and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve delivery and transport issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and operational documentation.
• Monitor and report key logistics KPIs including On Time Delivery (OTD), freight costs and delivery performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with OSW policies, procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• 2+ years' experience in domestic distribution, transport coordination or logistics operations.
• Experience coordinating deliveries using third-party transport providers.
• Experience obtaining freight quotations and arranging customer deliveries.
• Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within a wholesale, distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating deliveries of large or bulky products.
• Knowledge of transport cost control and freight optimisation.
• Experience working with customer-facing logistics operations.
