Placements24 is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator for a fully remote role. You will manage daily logistics, coordinate with carriers, oversee inventory, and ensure on-time deliveries while optimizing our warehouse and transport operations.

You will leverage WMS/TMS systems, work with cross-functional teams, and report KPIs to improve efficiency in a fast-paced, remote environment.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic player in the e-commerce fulfillment sector, is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage logistics operations from anywhere. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth flow of goods, coordinating with carriers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. We are looking for an individual with exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers to ensure service level agreements are met. Monitor shipments and proactively address any delays or issues to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain accurate inventory records and work to minimize discrepancies. Process shipping documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Analyze logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service) and external partners. Assist in the implementation and optimization of logistics software and processes. Generate regular reports on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

Proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or a related field. Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and transportation management. Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
