Primetals Technologies is seeking a proactive Logistics Executive to coordinate air, sea, and ground transport, manage customs processes and import-related activities. The role requires coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate logistics data, and preparing cost forecasts.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a logistics-related field, 2+ years in logistics or trade, and strong Excel and English skills. Experience with SAP is preferred in a fast-paced, international environment.

• Knowledge of automatic permits, regulations, and non-tariff restrictions.
• Experience using SAP.
• Excel proficiency (intermediate to advanced).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate air, sea, and ground transportation according to operational requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up on customs clearance processes.
• Monitor shipments and deliveries, ensuring timely follow-up and issue resolution.
• Maintain logistics and shipment information up to date in the system.
• Prepare and maintain logistics reports.
• Forecast customs expenses for imports.
• Follow up on import documentation and ensure compliance with foreign trade and customs requirements.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, transportation providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to relevant areas.
• Support analysis and control of logistics and customs-related expenses.
• Identify operational issues and coordinate timely solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics and foreign trade processes.

This position is responsible for coordinating transportation, shipments, customs processes, and import-related activities, ensuring timely execution, accurate documentation, and proper follow-up of logistics operations.

Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in logistics, foreign trade, transportation coordination, or related areas.
• 5+ years of experience is preferred, but candidates with less experience may be considered based on their skills and relevant background.
• Experience coordinating air, sea, and ground transportation.
• Experience in logistics operations and shipment coordination.
• Knowledge of foreign trade and customs processes.
• Knowledge of CARM and VUCEM.
• Knowledge of automatic permits, regulations, and non-tariff restrictions.
• Experience using SAP.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
