Empresa Confidencial is seeking an export logistics coordinator to ensure the smooth movement of shipments by collaborating with corporate logistics, planning, production, and transportation providers to keep goods flowing on time.

You will participate in weekly risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and apply cost-reduction strategies with freight forwarders and inland truckers while ensuring internal SLAs are met in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communications.
  • Prior business or internship experience, particularly in transportation or supply chain management.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Advanced English Level: Minimum C1 Conversational

Responsabilidades

  • Collaborate directly with corporate logistics, planning, production plants, and transportation providers to pull export shipments through the supply chain.
  • Participate in weekly risk routines to help mitigate future risk and create contingency plans to sustain green KPIs.
  • Support orders through the supply chain process for customers in export markets worldwide ensuring orders meet customer expectations and are delivered on time to support positive impacts to service level.
  • Utilize multiple systems to analyze production schedules, customer forecasts, and warehouse inventories for export order placement.
  • Serve as a transportation liaison between freight forwarders, inland truckers, and production plants while applying cost-reduction techniques.
  • Address operational topics with a sense of urgency and make sure operations are servicing internal SLA

Plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of export shipments through the supply chain. Your primary responsibilities include collaborating closely with corporate logistics, planning, production plants, and transportation providers to facilitate the timely movement of goods. You will actively participate in weekly risk assessment routines, aiming to mitigate potential issues and develop contingency plans to maintain exceptional performance metrics. As a key transportation liaison, you will interact with freight forwarders, inland truckers, and production plants, applying cost-reduction strategies to streamline operations. Your ability to address operational challenges with urgency and ensure that internal service level agreements (SLAs) are met will be crucial to your success.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering or related fields
  • Excellent communications
  • Prior business or internship experience, particularly in transportation or supply chain management.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with excellent follow-up skills
