Overview

Company Description: Ensure full compliance with applicable electrical regulations at the worksite by implementing safety protocols, supervising inspections, and coordinating technical documentation. The role guarantees safe, efficient, and legally aligned operations within industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Safety representative at the Celaya plant (local).
• Coordinate and supervise technical tests for electrical systems, including:
• Grounding system resistivity testing
• Current leakage detection between L1, L2, L3, and Neutral
• Insulation and voltage testing
• Create and maintain schematic documentation and technical manuals
• Ensure full compliance with national and international electrical safety laws, directives, and standards
• Develop site-specific electrical safety regulations
• Act as the main point of contact for the site\'s management on all electrical safety topics
• Support the selection and designation of:
• Designated Person for Electrical Safety (DP-ES)
• Electrical operators and system supervisors
• Exercise technical decision-making authority regarding DP-ES-related matters
• Verify that all required inspections on electrical installations, work equipment, and production tools are carried out
• Organize and ensure all necessary safety training and instruction measures
• Coordinate regular meetings between DP-ES personnel at the site
• Participate in continuous training and professional development courses

Qualifications

1. Degree in electrical engineering (bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably)
2. More than 5 years experience in facilities installation process knowledge in electrical substations
3. More than 5 years experience in project management
4. Deep knowledge in electrical Mexican regulation and electrical principles
5. Knowledge in the applicable regulations on electrical safety and their application
6. Knowledge in ISO 45001 (basis)
7. LOTO for electrical installations
8. Knowledge in the electrical risks
9. Knowledge in the study of electric arc in the equipment
