Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional RME Manager for LATAM–MX to own reliability, maintenance, and engineering operations across the SSD MX network. You will scale the maintenance organization, manage budget ownership, and drive CBM and predictive maintenance maturity across cold‑chain assets.

The role requires navigating a fast‑changing environment, leading cross‑functional teams, and defining RME strategies from scratch while ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing RCA and CI.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end building and facilities maintenance across all SSD MX nodes.
• Ensure a safe work environment following Amazon safety policies and standard procedures.
• Lead maintenance for cold‑chain infrastructure, HVAC‑R, conveyors, and electrical systems.
• Implement and operate remote monitoring systems for cold storage operations.
• Develop and deploy Preventive Maintenance routines aligned with AMS standards.
