Amazon is hiring a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager in Mexico. The role oversees a team of technicians, focusing on safety, training, and high equipment availability through preventative maintenance.

You will mentor staff, partner across the network, and support safety and leadership programs to ensure compliance and reliable operations. The position requires leadership experience and hands-on maintenance expertise, with flexibility for shift work and a strong customer-focused

Qualifications

5+ years of Reliability Program Manager or equivalent experience.
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
2+ years of CMMS experience.
2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Bachelor's degree; English-language communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, support and mentor the team, ensuring safe, standard and efficient work practices.
Collaborate with the network to leverage expertise and build solutions.
Assist the Reliability Engineering Manager with safety programs and audits.
Implement preventative maintenance to maintain high equipment availability.
Organize training and ensure adequate technical coverage for shifts.
Organize local projects or support BR level projects as assigned.
Be prepared to work shifts to stay connected with the team.
