Placements24 seeks a proactive Coordinador de Programas de Asistencia Humanitaria y Respuesta a Crisis to lead vital humanitarian programs in Torreón, Coahuila. The role blends on-site coordination with remote planning to deliver services during disasters and emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency management or humanitarian aid, with at least five years of program management experience, fluent Spanish, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in humanitarian aid, disaster response, or emergency management.
• Experience in program planning, implementation, and monitoring.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic plans for humanitarian assistance and crisis response initiatives.
• Coordinate delivery of essential services including food, shelter, medical aid, and psychosocial support.
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, NGOs, community leaders, and international organizations involved in disaster relief.
• Conduct needs assessments in crisis situations to prioritize and allocate resources.
• Manage program budgets and ensure accountability in fund use.
• Oversee logistics and supply chain management for relief efforts.
• Train and manage teams of staff and volunteers in crisis response operations.
• Develop and disseminate public information regarding assistance programs and safety protocols.
• Monitor program effectiveness and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and donors.
• Ensure compliance with humanitarian principles and organizational policies.
