Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, community development, public administration, communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in volunteer management, community organizing, or program coordination, preferably remote.
• Proven success in recruiting, training and managing volunteers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for virtual environments.
• Proficiency with volunteer management software, CRM systems, and online collaboration tools.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
• Creative and strategic thinking for developing community engagement initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated in a remote setting.
• Passion for community service and social impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies for recruiting, onboarding, and retaining volunteers nationwide.
• Design and deliver virtual training programs for volunteers.
• Manage volunteer databases and track hours, contributions, and impact.
• Coordinate and support remote volunteer projects and outreach activities.
• Foster relationships with volunteers and provide ongoing support and recognition.
• Collaborate with program staff to match volunteers to roles.
• Create communication materials (newsletters, social content) to engage volunteers.
• Organize virtual community events and engagement activities.
• Monitor and evaluate volunteer programs and strategies.
• Stay informed about best practices in volunteer management and community development.
