Job summary

Placements24, on behalf of a major industrial employer in Torreón, Coahuila, seeks a Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead the HR function, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HRIS, and compliance.

The role requires 8+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in leadership, plus a solid understanding of Mexican labor law. This is a strategic position to shape HR initiatives and partner with senior leadership in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing all core HR functions.
• Strong understanding of Mexican labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HRIS implementation and management.
• Ability to manage change effectively and drive organizational development.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's business goals and objectives.
• Oversee all HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HRIS.
• Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and implementing resolutions.
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Drive employee engagement and development initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic HR guidance and support.
