Responsibilities

• Serve as back-up for the shipping manager and review department metrics.
• Lead department improvement projects and drive productivity initiatives.
• Coordinate activities of team members and external partners.
• Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to benefit the department.
• Mentor and train staff within the Materials department.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review of Metric and indicators .
• Represent the Department of Materials at the meetings with the areas that require.Proposal development to improve productivity .
• Improvement Project Development .
• Lead department improvements and projects .
• Suggests annual department objectives .
• High complexity task-projects .
• High performance expectation .
• Coordinates activities of people who are not direct or indirect subordinates .
• Negotiations within and outside the company, impacts the department or other areas .
• Mature-Senior employee supervision .
• Formal teams .
• Mentor training department.
