Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Mexicali is recruiting a Materials Specialist for the Materials Structural department. You will plan and supervise materials, components and production orders, and manage transfers between plants to support the master production schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience, plus knowledge of MRP systems and inventory control, and advanced English. External posting, full-time, with no travel.

• APICS certification is preferred for specialized material management.

Position Purpose

Determine the current and future needs of raw materials and components required. to meet the master production schedule. Provide timely inputs required. by the business units.

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Planning and supervision requirements of materials, components and or production orders.
• Make adjustments inplanning requisition of the components and production orders.
• Follow up on deliveries of purchase orders, negotiating and or expediting delivery times and conditions.
• Make transfers of materials, components fromplants.
• Analyze and control the materials according to their inventory classification.
• Prepare andanalyze reports, databases and graphics related to their responsibilities.
• Processing engineering changes,obsolete or restricted material and adjustments to inventory levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.
