Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent for our facility in Tijuana, Mexico. You will plan, direct, and control production operations to meet schedules, quality, safety, and productivity targets, while optimizing use of resources and equipment.

You will lead a team of supervisors and operators, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure smooth manufacturing performance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations and meet schedules.
• Develop and coach a team of supervisors and staff.
• Monitor KPIs on productivity, efficiency, scrap, and delivery.
• Ensure quality and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce waste.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Logistics.
• Identify bottlenecks and plan capacity growth.
• Lead root cause investigations for operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
