Job summary

Vertiv in Reynosa, Mexico seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production, lean initiatives, and cost reductions across the product line. You will analyze processes, drive improvements, and collaborate with management and safety teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You should have a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, plus at least four years of high-level manufacturing experience and fluent English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years of high-level manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (read, write and speak).
• MS Office, with advanced PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with PRO-E/AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
• Six Sigma or SPC quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends and metrics with Management to develop solutions, programs and procedures.
• Eliminate paint booths bottlenecks and improve lean processes.
• Collaborate with Safety and Health to ensure ergonomic, safe production areas.
• Develop cost reduction ideas through process design and tooling or documentation improvements.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to management and associates on changes impacting production.
• Oversee capital equipment and tooling for the assigned area.
