Leggett & Platt Incorporated in Mexico is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI initiatives across the manufacturing facility, partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Leadership to identify opportunities and drive sustainable cost savings. The role focuses on Lean tools, OEE improvements, and process standardization while maintaining safety and cost discipline.

Required: 5+ years in operations with Lean/Six Sigma experience and strong training

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Lean Management, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in hands-on operational roles in supply chain management, engineering or manufacturing.
• 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience in applying Lean Thinking principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of LEAN principles and methodologies and implementing these.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma.
• Ability to develop focused team activities.
• Very good organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead CI initiatives to improve operational performance and reduce waste.
• Develop and manage CI budget and initiatives to align with the financial plan.
• Drive Lean tools to improve OEE, labor redeployment and shop floor space gains.
• Support 5S, lean initiatives, and 6 Sigma projects and model company values.
• Establish internal capabilities and strengthen the organization through training and succession planning.
• Ensure updated qualification matrix and in-house training for production staff.
• Support root cause analysis for issues and customer claims within manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to eliminate deviations.
