Molex seeks a Lead Trainer to implement and oversee the staff training system that drives continuous improvement in the Mexico plant’s performance. You will analyze training needs, develop tailored learning programs, and partner with plant leaders to build individual and organizational capabilities.

You will join the Training, Learning & Development team within HR, collaborating with plant personnel, managers, and SMEs to support Lean, 5S, EHS, and quality initiatives while ensuring employees

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, including curriculum design, learning needs analysis, and training vendor evaluation.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and delivering management and leadership development solutions.
  • Strong leadership, training, and management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2 (independent user) level.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-project environment with an assertive and systematic approach.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and quality tools relevant to the role.

Responsabilidades

  • Partner with people leaders to design and deliver strategies that enhance individual, team, and organizational capabilities while promoting cultural change and increasing staff engagement.
  • Identify training needs through data analysis and provide tailored technical and leadership development solutions.
  • Develop and support annual learning plans aligned with business goals.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage internal and external training providers to meet departmental needs.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of training programs using KPIs, feedback, and engagement surveys, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain a network of trainers and subject matter experts to ensure training excellence.
  • Support compliance with regulatory training requirements and participate actively in Lean, 5S, EHS, and Quality initiatives.
  • Enforce certification standards critical to safe and effective production, including the authority to stop production lines if personnel are not properly certified.

Our Team

You will join the Training, Learning & Development team in the HR department, collaborating closely with plant personnel, managers, and subject matter experts across the organization. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence, supporting initiatives like Lean, 5S, EHS, and quality improvement programs.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven relevant experience in Learning & Development, including curriculum design, learning needs analysis, and training vendor evaluation.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and delivering management and leadership development solutions.
  • Strong leadership, training, and management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2 (independent user) level.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-project environment with an assertive and systematic approach.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and quality tools relevant to the role.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Certification or diploma related to adult learning, training, or instructional design.
  • Lean certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or similar).
  • Experience with manufacturing processes relevant to Molex's product lines.
  • Experience leading teams of trainers or managing training programs in a manufacturing environment.
