Molex in Guadalajara, Mexico is seeking an EHS Analyst to help build a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will identify and mitigate safety, health, and environmental risks across manufacturing operations and support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Facilities teams to strengthen safety culture, participate in audits, and deliver EHS training. English proficiency is required for documentation and audits.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety programs within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Mexican environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations (STPS, SEMARNAT, CONAGUA).
  • Experience supporting EHS audits, compliance activities, or management systems.
  • English proficiency required for communication, documentation, and audit activities.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of occupational safety, health, and environmental risks across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and corporate requirements.
  • Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, gemba activities, and follow-up actions to improve workplace safety performance.
  • Coordinate and deliver EHS-related training programs focused on emergency response, safety policies, and safe work practices.
  • Support environmental programs related to waste management, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Facilities teams to improve workplace safety and environmental performance.
  • Assist in customer, regulatory, and management system audits and support effective corrective action implementation.
  • Promote behavioral-based safety initiatives and contribute to building a strong safety culture across the site.

As an EHS Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping create a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. In this position, you will support the identification, mitigation, and prevention of occupational safety, health, and environmental risks while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and corporate requirements. You will have the opportunity to influence safety culture, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with teams across the organization to protect people, operations, and the environment.

Our Team

You will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team supporting operations in Guadalajara. Our team works closely with Manufacturing, Facilities, Medical Services, Security, and Site Leadership to promote a proactive safety culture, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety programs within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Mexican environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations, including agencies such as STPS, SEMARNAT, CONAGUA, and related authorities.
  • Experience supporting EHS audits, compliance activities, or management systems.
  • English proficiency required to support communication, documentation, and audit activities.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Specialized training in Environmental, Health, and Safety disciplines.
  • Experience supporting ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 implementation, certification, and maintenance activities.
  • Experience delivering training programs related to safety, health, and environmental compliance.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, VSM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with contractor safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, working at heights, and emergency response programs.
  • External instructor registration related to occupational safety and health programs.
