Jabil in Mexico seeks Direct Test Engineers I & II to design, develop and maintain test procedures and tester hardware/software for electronic circuit boards. You will lead recruitment, coach engineers, and drive training while ensuring quality and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement in testing processes and equipment to meet internal and external customer expectations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
• 5–10 years of related experience in test engineering or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Experience in developing or maintaining test procedures and equipment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit and interview Test Engineers I & II.
• Coach Test Engineers in the interviewing/hiring process.
• Monitor team turnover and identify factors to improve; implement changes.
• Create and validate training curricula in area of responsibility.
• Coach and mentor Test Engineers I & II to deliver excellence to customers.
• Establish clear measurable goals and objectives for team results.
• Solicit ongoing feedback and provide coaching based on performance.
• Provide training and assist test engineers in procedures and tests.
• Act as liaison for assigned customers and projects.
• Explore new test technologies for quality improvements on products.
• Perform detailed analysis on test quality, identify trends, and spearhead corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, health and security policies are followed.
