Rosewood Hotel Group is seeking a Head Sommelier to curate our wine program with leadership, warmth, and hospitality across all outlets. You will elevate guest experiences through personalized recommendations and education, inspiring the sommelier team and collaborating closely with culinary teams.

You will lead wine service standards, manage the cellar, and develop engaging events that showcase our collection while ensuring compliance with licensing and safety policies.

Formación

• Proven leadership experience in wine service.
• Strong guest-centric hospitality and communication.
• Extensive knowledge of wines and wine pairing.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the sommelier team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Oversee wine program across outlets with consistency and quality.
• Provide personalized wine recommendations to guests and tailor experiences.
• Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams for food and wine pairings.
• Ensure standards for wine service, including presentation and decanting.
• Manage cellar operations: stock, inventory, ordering, rotation.
• Lead wine education and training for teams and guests.
• Run wine tastings, dinners, and special events showcasing the collection.
• Contribute to evolving wine lists to stay innovative and commercially viable.
• Ensure licensing, health, safety, and beverage policies are followed.
