Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to drive end-to-end solution delivery for major retail platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• AI-assisted tools used for design, coding, test gen, and documentation.
• 8–10 years of professional software development with daily hands-on coding.
• 5+ years building cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven systems on Azure or similar.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, React/Vue proficiency.
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery and post-release accountability.
• Proven REST/OpenAPI, messaging, and SQL/NoSQL database experience.
• Hands-on CI/CD, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution delivery from discovery to delivery across tracks.
• Mentor engineers and lead pair programming, code reviews, and best practices.
• Lead client engagements as the primary technical lead and engage stakeholders.
• Implement critical components and review deliverables from teams.
• Define ADRs, interface contracts, data models, and migration plans.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development and ensure ethical, responsible AI usage.
