Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks a hands‑on Lead Software Engineer to drive end‑to‑end delivery for major retail platforms. You will own feature development, technical design, code reviews, and post‑release support, while leading Dual‑Track Agile in Discovery and Delivery.

The role emphasizes AI/agent workflows, cloud‑native architecture, and strong client engagement across platforms. You will mentor teams, make critical trade‑offs, and take accountability for delivery sign‑off.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of professional software development with daily hands‑on coding and prototyping.
• 5+ years building cloud‑native, microservices, or event‑driven systems on Azure or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, and React/Vue.
• Proven experience owning end‑to‑end solution delivery with design, implementation, and post‑release accountability.
• Track record of building production code, prototypes, and reference implementations.
• Experience with REST/OpenAPI, messaging platforms, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, deployment tooling, testing, and AI/agentic workflows.
• Practical experience with generative AI tools and measurable delivery impact.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross‑team collaboration.
• Proven leadership in mentoring engineers and code reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end‑to‑end solution delivery across Discovery and Delivery Tracks, building prototypes and shipping implementations.
• Drive the Discovery Track with working prototypes and feasibility validation.
• Own design intent, code quality, and non‑functional requirements across platforms.
• Facilitate client workshops, present solutions, and influence technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and example‑driven leadership.
• Implement critical features with a focus on quality and maintainability.
• Enforce engineering standards, reusable integration patterns, and security controls.
• Develop ADRs, interface contracts, data models, and migration plans.
• Lead risk analysis for backward compatibility and data integrity.
• Contribute to platform strategy, API‑first designs, and asset reuse.
• Ensure delivery sign‑off and post‑release support accountability.
• Collaborate with architects on governance and platform roadmaps.
