Softtek in Aguascalientes, Mexico is seeking an SDET Lead to drive QA strategy and lead automation efforts in a fast-paced team. The role will collaborate across Development, Product, and DevOps to ensure high-quality software delivery and alignment with client needs, with occasional travel to the USA.

The candidate should have 7+ years in testing, 3+ years in leadership, strong Java-based automation, API testing with Postman/REST Assured, and hands-on MQ testing in event-driven systems.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing or QA.
• 3+ years leading QA/SDET teams or similar.
• Experience with test automation using Java, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Git version control.
• Experience testing event-driven middleware systems (MQ: IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka).
• Leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
• Onshore-offshore coordination and automation ownership.
