Aplazo in Mexico is seeking a Senior SDET to elevate engineering quality. This role writes production-grade code and maintains automated tests, improving test suites and coverage for medium to large features.

It’s an engineering role, not a pure QA gatekeeper, and you’ll empower every engineer to test better. You will mentor engineers on testing practices, own test strategies (unit, integration, contract, e2e), and drive quality metrics.

Formación

• 3-5+ years as a software engineer or SDET.
• Proficient with production-grade code and automated tests.
• Experience building test frameworks and tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor engineers on testing practices and quality.
• Define unit, integration, contract, and e2e test strategies.
• Build production-grade automation, testing tools & test scripts.
• Instrument and track quality signals and use data to drive improvements.
• Leverage AI to generate tests, identify coverage gaps, and accelerate feedback loops.
• Shift quality left by coaching design and development teams.
