Brillio seeks a Lead Quality Engineer in Mexico (Jalisco region) to lead testing for web apps and microservices. You will guide test strategy, design robust test scenarios, and mentor a testing team in both manual and automated approaches.

You will drive API validation with Postman/SoapUI, oversee test data and environments, and track defects using Zephyr and JIRA, while championing Agile practices and delivering quality metrics for production releases.

Formación

• 4–6 years of quality engineering for web apps and microservices with hands-on manual and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead analysis of requirements to design robust test scenarios for web apps and microservices.
• Drive development, execution, and maintenance of automated and manual test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and BDD.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing; document results and metrics.
• Validate APIs, databases, and end-to-end workflows with Postman and SoapUI.
• Oversee test data and environment management across the testing lifecycle.
• Manage and track defects with Zephyr and JIRA; collaborate with dev teams for timely fixes.
• Champion Agile ceremonies and sprint activities for process improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
