GlobalLogic in Mexico City seeks a Senior Test Engineer to lead QA across web and mobile apps. You will define testing strategies, drive automation, and ensure high-quality software deliveries with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, promote testing best practices, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, including performance and security considerations.

Formación

• Experience building automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of testing levels: unit, integration, functional, end-to-end.
• Ability to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Test Engineering function within cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and successful project outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Define testing strategies, quality objectives, acceptance criteria, and test plans for project delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify issues, improve product quality, and support continuous delivery.
• Perform code reviews, provide quality-focused feedback, and promote test automation best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Test Engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and career development support.
• Communicate project status, testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Support defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
