EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Lead Python Full Stack Engineer who combines deep Python backend expertise with strong frontend skills in React or Angular. You will lead engineering teams, shape technical direction, and own the delivery of scalable web applications.

You will design APIs, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and QA, and drive best practices in testing, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on Python experience
• 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Solid knowledge of React or Angular
• Deep understanding of REST APIs and web architecture
• Experience designing and evolving complex systems
• Strong relational and NoSQL database experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with testing, debugging, and CI/CD
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments
• English proficiency at least B2 level

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks
• Architect backend services, APIs, and integrations with a focus on scalability
• Define standards for responsive frontend components and oversee their implementation
• Own decisions around databases, cloud services, and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to shape technical direction
• Drive technical design sessions, lead code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Mentor and coach engineers to foster technical growth
• Ensure long-term code quality, performance, and maintainability across projects
• Take ownership of delivery, identify risks early, and propose effective solutions
