EPAM Systems in Mexico seeks a Python Development expert to lead engineering teams and drive innovation for client projects. The role focuses on delivering scalable Python solutions, mentoring engineers, and shaping engineering practices across Mexico.

The ideal candidate will guide cloud architecture on AWS, promote AI adoption, and align engineering outcomes with business goals while maintaining high standards.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Architect.
• Expertise in Python development, code reviews, optimizations.
• Background in designing Cloud environments, with emphasis on AWS.
• Understanding of business goals to manage stakeholder interactions.
• Experience leading distributed teams and inspiring engineers.

EPAM Mexico is seeking a Python Development expert dedicated to fostering innovation and driving business transformation for our company and clients.

We are in search of an experienced engineer capable of delivering impactful solutions that enhance our position as a trusted partner in the global technology ecosystem.

Success in this role requires leadership capabilities to inspire a team of engineers, deliver top-notch solutions, elevate engineering practices in Mexico, and cultivate a robust pipeline of talent and forward-thinking ideas.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide your team by hiring, mentoring, and promoting professional growth; provide feedback, resolve conflicts, and align team efforts with organizational goals
• Promote AI adoption by aligning strategies, encouraging innovation, and equipping teams with the flexibility to scale infrastructure while upholding ethical standards
• Establish a software development framework from the ground up, incorporating industry standards and aligning with project goals
• Remain informed about emerging technologies within the Python ecosystem, introducing relevant updates to enhance project efficiency and performance
• Participate in SWAT activities to resolve critical challenges, stepping in to minimize downtime and ensure effective solutions
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Python technology advancements such as frameworks and tools
• Participate in professional development activities such as technical training, advanced courses, or certifications
• Present technical solutions effectively to customers and stakeholders, advocating for alternative approaches where necessary

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Architect
• Demonstrated skills in Python development, with expertise in performing code reviews, applying optimizations, and resolving technical issues
• Background in designing and implementing Cloud environments, with an emphasis on AWS, ensuring scalable and reliable architectures
• Understanding of business goals to manage interactions with stakeholders; able to analyze architecture requirements and utilize the Python stack to meet small to mid-sized project needs
• Competency in integrating Engineering Excellence (EngX) practices to maintain standards and foster a high-quality engineering culture
• Capability to define, measure progress, and ensure alignment between development outcomes and business objectives
• Experience managing distributed teams to facilitate seamless collaboration across locations
• Leadership expertise to inspire teams and deliver challenging objectives successfully
• Proficiency in communication and the ability to establish trustworthy relationships with stakeholders
