Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Production Area Supervisor in Mexicali to drive production metrics, coach teams, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. You will lead interviews, onboarding, training, and performance reviews while coordinating with engineering for line transfers and improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in operations/engineering, strong leadership, and Lean manufacturing expertise, with SAP and Agile experience preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related fields.
• External Candidate 5 years of operations manager and engineering experience.
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred, specifically in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ability to lead process improvements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP; Agile experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve production area performance goals including safety, absenteeism, turnover, and productivity metrics.
• Perform interviews, hire, onboarding, train, reward, recognize and discipline direct reports.
• Ensure training completion for associates; enforce DOPs and SOPs in EHS and Quality Systems.
• Coach employees, manage workload, and conduct annual performance reviews and monthly 1:1s.
• Drive culture strategy, lead KPI tracking for EHS, absenteeism, turnover, NCR, and scrap.
• Generate production reports and update MPIs; review ECO impacts and support validations.
• Collaborate with corporate engineering on line transfers or improvements; resolve daily issues.
• Support CAPA, Layered Audits, and Lean initiatives; ensure proper material usage and reduce scrap.
