Intuitive in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead lean manufacturing initiatives for high‑volume medical devices. This onsite role drives process improvements, equipment readiness, and compliance with ISO 13485 while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You will own MPIs, ECOs, and supplier interactions, mentor operators, and help achieve quarterly production goals in a world‑class manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Fluent English; able to read/write technical docs.
• 3–4 years as a Manufacturing Engineer in a medical devices setting.
• Experience with ECOs, BOM, IQ/PQ/OQ, and NCRs.
• Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with ISO 13485 or medical device manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Own tooling/fixturing and production equipment improvements.
• Evaluate designs for reliability, manufacturability; propose changes.
• Approve design releases and provide DFM input.
• Review ECOs from manufacturing and field perspectives.
• Maintain compliance with the quality system and MPIs.
• Assist supplier evaluation and resolve supplier issues.
• Update Manufacturing Process Instructions for accuracy.
• Report variances and drive corrective actions.
• Provide performance feedback to production personnel.
• Drive safety, quality, and cost improvements.
