Celestica Inc. in Monterrey, MX seeks a Senior Controls & Automation Architect to lead control architecture for high-speed automated lines, defining takt-time targets and robust communication topologies.

You will collaborate with operations, quality, industrial engineering, and product introduction teams, author URS/SOW/RFQ packages, and evaluate vendor proposals across Siemens S7-1500, Rockwell Studio 5000, and Keyence KV platforms.

Qualifications

Authors, audits, and enforces URS, SOW, and RFQ packages for turnkey automated machinery.
Evaluates vendor control proposals, BOMs, safety interlock design matrices, and factory risks.
Leads in-house PLC/software architecture across multiple platforms.
Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency in technical negotiations.

Responsibilities

Define control architecture, takt-time targets, and communication topologies for high-speed lines.
Prepare requirements documentation and governance for RFQ, URS, SOW.
Evaluate supplier proposals, BOMs, and safety interlock designs.
Lead software development on Siemens S7-1500, Rockwell Studio 5000, and Keyence KV platforms.
Ensure safety standards compliance (ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061) and FAT/SAT execution.
Oversee project governance, CapEx tracking, and cross-site reporting.
