Job summary

Acuity Inc. in Monterrey is seeking a Hardware Engineer to lead product design and development of LED drivers from concept through production. You will supervise prototyping, testing, and verification of samples and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, quality delivery.

You will have 5+ years of engineering experience in power electronics and SMPS, with strong PCB knowledge and SPICE tool proficiency. Travel 0‑25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Advanced English skills required.
• 5+ years of strong engineering experience, preferably with Power Electronics and SMPS.
• Strong understanding of power electronics circuits (Boost, Buck, Flyback, LLC, etc.).
• Experience with SPICE tools (LTSpice/PSpice).
• PCB design knowledge and manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of switch mode power supplies for LED drivers from concept through production.
• Coordinate prototyping, testing, and verification of samples with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve BOM, part issues, and ensure quality.
• Drive process improvements and participate in Kaizen and stage-gate development.
