OPmobility seeks an experienced automotive electronics design engineer in Monterrey to lead exterior lighting circuitry, LED driver modules, and associated HW development. You will collaborate with design, MCAD/ECAD teams, suppliers and customers to ensure robust, cost-effective solutions that meet program timing.

The role requires deep hands-on knowledge of automotive electronics, power electronics, and embedded systems, with a focus on reliable, safe lighting hardware in a global mobility

Formación

• Minimum 8 years of automotive electronics design, development and launch experience.
• Modeling circuits with PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB or equivalents.
• Design for functional safety under ISO26262.
• Proficiency with Altium schematic capture.
• Familiar with tools such as Teamcenter, DOORS NG, Vector CANoe, Mathcad.
• Design of Power Electronics: SMPS, DC-DC converters, linear regulators in automotive environment.
• Familiar with embedded systems like microcontrollers and LIN/CAN protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering design, development and production support for exterior lighting products.
• Maintain communication with external customer, internal project team and suppliers.
• Capture hardware requirements for lamp electronics, LED Arrays & Lamp ECU’s.
• Provide detailed design of electrical circuit schematic in Company tools.
• Circuits may include LED driver modules, headlamp control modules, LED matrix drivers, DC/DC-SMPS.
• Contribute on incorporating new circuits to the global standard circuit library.
• Develop best cost offer from HW BOM perspective and manage cost changes.
• Work with MCAD and ECAD engineers to ensure high quality circuit boards and harnesses.
• Support electronics testing and validation to meet OEM requirements.
• Maintain HW documentation and reports to company processes.
• Coordinate with EMS or in-house facilities for manufacturing.
• Create new parts in Company database for new circuits.
• Meet HW deliverables aligned with project plans.
