OPmobility in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee all mechanical activity for the assigned program, delivering robust, cost-conscious, and compliant solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years in automotive development, CATIA CAD expertise, and proven leadership of cross-functional teams; English proficiency required. This role is on-site and regional in scope.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• CATIA CAD expertise with strong 3D modeling skills.
• 10+ years of automotive development experience.
• 3+ years leading projects and teams.
• Experience with injection molding tooling concepts.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all mechanical activity for the assigned program to deliver robust, compliant solutions.
• Lead and coordinate the mechanical team from quoting to Start of Production.
• Validate feasibility from sketches, renderings, and tooling concepts.
• Ensure design rules, CAE, and DV/PPAP processes are followed.
• Manage data release and communication with manufacturing and tooling partners.
• Drive cost reduction ideas and Design to Cost initiatives.
• Provide technical presentations and status updates on the program.
