WireCo WorldGroup is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Mexico City to lead the AP team, oversee end-to-end AP operations, and drive process improvements. You will manage a payroll of invoices, collaborate with vendors, and ensure strict adherence to tax and internal controls.

Bilingual English/Spanish required, with 5–7 years in accounting and 3+ years in a leadership role. The role emphasizes development of a high-performance AP function, integration with ERP systems, and supporting cash

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• At least 5–7 years of accounting experience with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong expertise in accounts payable management, general accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership with analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team.
• Conduct hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance work environment.
• Provide ongoing training to ensure skill development and process consistency.
• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable (invoice to payment).
• Review and approve payment runs, wire transfers, and checks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in AP.
• Support month-end and year-end close and prepare AP metrics.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (IVA and ISR).
• Partner with finance leadership on cash flow planning and forecasting.
