Job summary

Lutron Electronics Latinoamérica seeks a talented Lead Accountant to support its Chihuahua, Mexico operations. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage tax compliance under Mexican regulations.

The role requires ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards) and strong Excel skills. You will collaborate with local and global stakeholders, oversee payroll accounting and asset/inventory capitalization, and contribute to budgeting,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting and tax experience.
Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
Knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax regulations (IVA, ISR).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure accurate reporting.
Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries and reconciliations.
Coordinate tax filings and IMMEX compliance.
Oversee payroll accounting and related accruals.
Prepare financial statements and management reporting for local and corporate leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
