Lutron Electronics seeks a Lead Accountant for its Chihuahua, Mexico operations. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, manage journal entries, and ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with Mexican standards.

You will coordinate tax filings, VAT refunds, payroll accounting, and provide management reports. Strong ERP and Excel skills, plus English proficiency, are essential for collaboration with global teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting and tax experience.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF).
• Knowledge of Mexican tax regulations (IVA, ISR).
• Experience with financial reporting, compliance, and audits.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger activities.
• Coordinate federal, state, and local tax filings and compliance.
• Support VAT refunds and IMMEX compliance.
• Review payroll accounting and related accruals.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze results and communicate insights and risks.
• Oversee fixed assets and inventory accounting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, HR, and other functions to drive decisions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and improve controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
