Autoliv is seeking a Launch Industrial Engineer to bridge product and process design with manufacturing execution, guiding the industrialization of new products from development to serial production.

You will support new production line launches by refining processes and standardizing work instructions through prototype, pilot, and pre-serial phases to ensure a smooth transition to high-volume manufacturing.

Formación

• Experience with APQP/PPAP processes and leading control plan development.
• Strong PFMEA experience and risk assessment capabilities.
• Ability to drive production launches and ensure readiness for SOP.

Responsabilidades

• Lead APDS and PPAP activities, ensuring customer and internal quality requirements are met and approved prior to production launch.
• Develop, maintain, and validate prototype, pre-production, and serial production Control Plans for robust processes and quality.
• Drive PFMEA activities and risk assessments, implement corrective actions.
• Manage customer quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, and verify closure.
• Monitor launch readiness by tracking open quality issues and ensuring SOP readiness.

Launch Industrial Engineer.

In this role you will be responsible for bridging product and process design with manufacturing execution, ensuring the successful industrialization of new products from development through serial production. You will support the launch of new production lines by optimizing and standardizing manufacturing processes, validating process performance, and ensuring readiness to meet quality, productivity, and operational targets. Additionally, you will develop, validate, and continuously refine standardized work instructions during prototype, pilot, and pre-serial production phases to ensure a smooth transition into high-volume manufacturing.

• Lead APDS and PPAP activities, ensuring all customer and internal quality requirements are met and approved prior to production launch.
• Develop, maintain, and validate prototype, pre-production, and serial production Control Plans to ensure robust manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Drive PFMEA activities and risk assessments, identifying potential failure modes, strengthening error-proofing measures, and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Manage customer quality concerns and complaints, including customer visits, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and verification of issue closure.
• Monitor launch readiness by tracking open quality issues, escalating risks as needed, ensuring timely resolution, and verifying compliance with Autoliv and customer requirements before SOP.

If You Have/are

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or manufacturing operations within a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of APQP/PPAP methodologies, PFMEA, Control Plans, customer quality requirements, and production launch processes.
• Proven understanding of manufacturing processes, process validation, production readiness, and the ability to troubleshoot process, equipment, and tooling issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a results-oriented mindset, customer focus, attention to detail, and willingness to travel as required.
