A sustainable mobility technology leader is seeking a candidate in Puebla, Mexico, for an Engineering role focused on program launches and industrial development. Responsibilities include planning production schedules, managing CapEx projects, and participating in the development of purchasing processes. Mission, Roles and Responsibilities
  • He/She is responsible for activities related to program launches in the plant and provides information for serial process development activities and/or current programs.
  • Responsible for the analysis, correction, and implementation, in conjunction with the plant, of engineering information in the applicable processes.
  • Responsible for scheduling production and shipping materials for pre-series, prototypes, and special customer requests.
  • Responsible for executing work packages for the industrial development of the program in the plant: plant design, MIFD / MIFA, process flow, and industrial testing.
  • Participate in the development and creation of purchase orders for the pre-series of new projects, providing necessary support with the purchasing team.
  • Define the necessary resources for the industrial development support team in terms of workload, skills, and profiles.
  • Participate together with the central support team in industrial development to ensure the correct launch at the plant by conducting reviews, assigning tasks, taking responsibility, and preparing launch personnel and related training plans.
  • Stay in contact with UAP and PC & L to plan production-related executions/tests. Coordinate the installation and launch of production equipment. Support production during the start-up after delivery.
  • Management of launch activities at the Plant.
  • Planning and execution of CapEx investment projects in the plant
  • Support in workshops focused on process improvement and industrialization.
Your Profile and Competencies
  • Assembly, industrial cutting, and sewing processes
  • Knowledge and interpretation of basic PC&L tools
  • Tiger System (Design)
  • Project management (PMS)
  • Quality systems (IATF 16949 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and interpretation of financial terms: Budget, forecast, P&L, SUC
  • Specific Customer Requirements (PCS-S-EES-6099 Matrix of general plant courses as applicable as secondary)
  • AutoCAD
