Forvia seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own all manufacturing deliverables for new programs from acquisition through SOP + six months. You will lead a production system, ensure feasibility and drive IPM through launch and ramp-up, coordinating with plant teams and product engineers.

Advanced English and 3+ years automotive experience are required. The role emphasizes process flow, equipment, utilities and tool budgets while aligning with Faurecia standards across sites in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; minimum 4 years previous experience as Manufacturing Engineer.
• Advanced English required.

Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

Member of the core team. Responsible for all Manufacturing deliverables of new programs / from the acquisition phase till SOP + 6 months. Manages functionally Program Manufacturing team. Ensures manufacturing feasibility. Develop & validates complete production system of the program. Supervises the production launch through IPM.

• Act as the interface between the Program Core team and the plant(s)
• Ensure design to manufacturing through concurrent engineering activities with product engineers.
• Implement all changes of the production system related to the product modifications (as of Engineering Change Management).
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility.
• Study, develop in detail, follow-up, validate, release and set-up the complete Production System of production, including but not limited to: the program process flow charts, plant layout, equipment and tools, utilities, material and information flow analysis, in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives
• Participate in the Production Part Approval Process runnings (including Mass Production Trial and Extended Mass Production Trial).
• Support the production launch and Ramp-up
• Report all manufacturing risks analysis and their associated action plans and opportunities.
• Apply program Management System and Engineering Change Management and Faurecia tools and standards.
• Ensure that manufacturing milestones are passed successfully and on time.
• Manage Capex and Tool Budget

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum Education Level

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; minimum 4 years previous experience as Manufacturing Engineer or applicable work experience.
• Additional Language: Advanced English

Experience

Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of automotive experience
