Forvia is seeking a Deputy Plant Manager to organize and manage production, aligning with cost, quality and deadlines. You will define manufacturing strategy, supervise Autonomous Production Unit managers, and develop their skills to sustain high-performance operations.

You will drive improvements in QCD results, ensure production launches readiness, and actively participate in continuous improvement, health, safety and employee development across the plant.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise Autonomous Production Unit managers and support functions to ensure smooth information flow.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive plant performance on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) and manage the plant budget.
• Achieve QCD improvements, optimize layout and equipment use.
• Oversee production launches of new products across plant levels.
• Drive supplier performance improvements.
• Define and implement the Faurecia Excellence System deployment.
• Engage everyone in continuous improvement.
• Ensure health, environmental protection and plant safety.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and development of plant staff.
• Co-manage social climate and labor relations with Plant Manager.
• Develop future Faurecia experts and managers.
• Lead Gap (TOP5, QRQC, TOP 60, HSE) initiatives and generate improvement ideas.

Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

The Deputy Plant Manager sets up the organization and manages production in accordance with cost, quality, and deadline constraints. He/she defines the manufacturing strategy for the product lines and ensures the overall performance of production. Finally, he/she supports the Autonomous Production Unit Managers and develops their skills.

The Main Missions Of The Role

• Supervise the UAP (Autonomous Production Unit) manags, support function managers (HR, Quality, Finance, Logistics, Purchasing, etc.) and ensure the proper flow of information.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive the plant's performance in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD), develop and respect the plant's budget.
• Obtain improvement in the QCD results of the products and processes, optimize the plant layout and the use of equipment.
• Ensure the proper anticipation, at all levels of the plant, of the production launches of new products.
• Drive supplier performance improvement.
• Define a deployment plan for the Faurecia Excellence System and implement it.
• Involve everyone in the continuous improvement process.
• Ensure employee health, environmental protection, and plant safety.
• Ensure the recruitment, integration, training, and development of the plant's employees.
• Manage with the Plant Manager the social climate and labor relations.
• Develop future Faurecia experts and managers
• Animate the Gap (TOP5, QRQC, TOP 60, HSE audit).
• Generate and implement improvement ideas.

Minimum Education Level

• Minimumeducation level: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred) from engineering school

Professional Experience

• Successful experience in production management and lean manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years professional experience, in a multi-site industrial environment
