Adient in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a proactive program management professional to support new programs, plant projects, and cost-reduction initiatives across manufacturing lines. You will ensure timely design changes, coordinate with HSE, Engineering, Operations, and Quality, and drive BOS processes to meet launch milestones and cost targets within the fiscal year.

Participation in weekly SDT meetings for JIT, foam and trim, approving changes and preparing progress reports for management updates

Responsabilidades

• Support the plant and customer through effective management of new programs, plant projects and implementation of improvement and cost reduction suggestions.
• Assure design changes are implemented in a timely cost-effective manner.
• Support plant safety programs by ensuring HSE, Engineering support, and Operations is involved with change implementation in manufacturing.
• Complete eLPA audits as assigned.
• Support new program management based on the Program Launch System (PLUS) BOS documentation.
• Support VA/VE activities by ensuring that Engineering, Operations, and Quality are represented at all trials and implementations.
• Establish/evaluate internal integration plans by completing make vs. buy plans and presenting proposals.
• Facilitate and track material cost reduction activities.
• Manage changes within profit plan parameters for fiscal year.
• Follow BOS processes to achieve launch and change management objectives and milestones.
• Attend weekly Adient SDT meetings for JIT, foam and trim where changes are reviewed and promoted or rejected.
• Approve deviations, change requests and change notices.
• Create reports, presentations, and tracking files to properly manage projects and provide management updates.
