Adient plc in Querétaro is seeking a senior automotive engineering leader to drive front-line technical leadership for trim programs. You will guide engineering teams to meet milestones, ensure cost-effective and manufacturable designs, and act as the main technical liaison with customers to close issues and guarantee performance and budget adherence.

Formación

BSME or Industrial Engineering degree; minimum 8+ years in automotive engineering.
Lead engineering teams to achieve on-time milestones and meet first-time quality targets.
Strong experience in trim engineering and JIT/Cut & Sew programs.
Expertise with engineering tools such as DFMEA, Root Cause/8D, DVP, GD&T.

Responsabilidades

Lead engineering team to achieve ≥95% on‑time engineering releases.
First‑time DV/PV pass rate ≥90%.
Engineering changes reduction vs. prior programs.
Act as primary technical interface with customer, ensuring alignment to specs and costs.
Own engineering budget and resources within approved budget (±5%).
Drive robust design culture and continuous improvement.
Develop team capability through coaching and structured plans.
