Job summary

Mattel LATAM seeks a Senior Buyer for Indirect Procurement to lead negotiation strategies across multiple indirect spend categories in the LATAM region. You will strengthen supplier relationships and ensure compliance with Mattel procurement policies while collaborating with local, regional, and global teams.

This role develops regional and local sourcing strategies, manages commercial contracts, supports internal stakeholders, and delivers value through ethical, transparent procurement

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in procurement or indirect procurement.
• Experience negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to benchmark prices.
• Ability to work across multicultural and matrix environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute regional sourcing strategies for indirect categories.
• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and develop category strategies.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers in line with global policies.
• Analyze proposals, run quotations, and perform price benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with global policies and regulatory standards.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with procurement teams regionally and globally.
